On Friday 12th June Preschool went on their last trip of the year! The 2 cars and bus got loaded up and off we went, with lots of chatter going on!! We went all the way up to W5, far far away in Belfast as some of the children told us!!! We all brought our very own packed lunches as well, just like big boys & girls! Some of the lunch bags felt pretty heavy and the staff wondered what goodies and delights the mummies & daddies had packed!!

 When we arrived at W5 with our high visibility vests securely on we found our partners and waited together until it was time to go and explore. We were all very good at holding hands and waiting for the traffic signals to change so we could safely cross the busy road! When we arrived into W5 a very nice man sat us all down and explained the rules of W5!! Thankfully they weren’t too hard to remember!!  

There is so much to do at W5, the children all loved using the crane to build the house, we tested out our sharing side on this fun thing!! There is also new art machine too where we had to aim the laser paint guns and make a messy picture. 

There was a few disappointed faces when we first arrived as the water area was being fixed by the men but luck was on our side and we were able to get in and have a bit of splashing time in the water tray and throwing the balls into the basket.

The children loved playing in the shop filling their baskets with lots of goodies!! It was also very good fun for the staff to put it all back again when the children had finished!!!

 For our little musical children there was a super stage area with new music playing and guitars! The children definitely burned off some energy with all the funky dance moves and singing and therefore we discovered we had lots of little rock-stars amongst us!!

 The children had a super busy morning and it was comical to watch them try fit every area of play in…..there was just too much to play with!!!

 However finally it was lunchtime and with a bit of effort we managed to get them away from the play area and got stuck into eating our packed lunches…. after working up a big appetite!!   W5 was super fun and I’m sure the children would love it if they managed to get a visit back up there soon!!
