Elaine and Ivan brought Chaz to visit all the preschool children.  Chaz is a very special black Labrador who is trained to help guide Elaine where ever she goes. Elaine told us all about Chaz and what his special harness meant and the different commands he has learnt to help guide Elaine.

Chaz had 3 wishes to tell us about; the first one is do not feed him if you see him out and about, (he gets lots of yummy food at home), secondly was  do not pet him if he has his harness on (this will distract him from helping Elaine) and thirdly if you see a Guide Dog Box please pop some pennies in!

Elaine helped us all to understand how it would feel to be blind or not able to see very well, and just how important guide dogs like Chaz are.

We were so lucky to have a visit from Chaz and to also pet him before he left, we raised £81.60 for him to take away with him! Well done Preschool!! Thanks for coming to visit us Chaz and for the sloppy kisses!! See you next year, keep up the great work!!
