We were all very excited to finally get to Castle Park after having to cancel the following week with all the lovely rain that poured down!!!  Wellies & coats were put on just in case but when we arrived the ground had definitely dried up, we could hear the leaves crunching!

As we walked around we kept our eyes to the ground looking for different coloured leaves to collect and we even found some prickly shells which had conkers hiding inside them!!

On our walk around there was lots of other people walking their dogs and we also saw lots of grey squirrels dashing about the grass and running up the trees!! We tried to get a picture but they were much too fast!!  We spotted lots of big logs lying around which we all  loved climbing on, we pretended one was a pirate ship…. climb aboard crew!!

We all had a super time at Castle Park, and a few of our little legs were getting tired as we made our way back to the ‘Moo Bus & Car’!  We had done really well on this trip, collecting bags full of crunchy leaves, feathers and conkers for our Preschool Room!!
