We were all very excited to meet the two little lambs that had come to live at Seaview Farm. Feeding time is great fun, with the lambs coming into the different rooms looking for little hands to hold their bottle of milk for them! The lambs love getting their milk and the children are just the right height to hold the bottle for them!!
The lambs have been getting bigger and bigger each day they come to visit us, and we know it is because we have been helping to feed them!!
Now because the lambs have grown bigger Farmer Ian brings them into the front garden for us to feed. Sometimes the lambs are in a playful mood and we have to try catch them first before then taking turns at holding the bottle! The lambs enjoy having their back stroked whilst getting their milk!
Some of the children encourage the lambs to try some yummy green grass after their bottle. The children said the lambs tongue felt like sandpaper when they tried to lick their fingers! After the lambs have their bottle they love to explore around the garden. They get very excited and run, skip and jump around the place and we all love running after them trying to catch them!!
The lambs even wanted to come into our play house to investigate what we were playing with, it was abit of a squash and a squeeze!! After they had a little play Farmer Ian caught them and took them back to their shed, we can’t wait till the next time they come to visit for abit more fun!!
