What a fabulous day was had on Friday 15th June, as our preschool class of 2012 graduated.  It was an emotional day with parents celebratingwhat their children have achieved duringthe year.  The children made a grand entrance into the room in full graduation gowns and how fabulous and proud they looked.  It never ceases to amaze me how the children grow in confidence between September and June.

We were delighted to welcome our special guest Janice Mawhinney.  Janice is our early  years specialist from Curriculum and Programme Support (CAPS) and had the pleasure of presenting the certificates to the children on stage.

The graduates then performed their collection of songs to their family and friends, guided by their wonderful leader Lauren Irvine.  Refreshments and graduation cupcakes (nearly too nice to eat) from Bailey T’s were enjoyed by all.

The day ended with a visit from Magic George and his mad monkey Geoffrey.  I am not sure who laughed the most between staff, parents, grandparents and children.
